Cotton Picking Minute
Coming from a musical family, Norm started playing bass at a very young age and would spend hours in his room practicing to the bass players of his day - Geddy Lee, Chris Squire and Stanley Clark. In his mid teens Norm started his musical career playing in local bands and touring much of Canada. In his twenties, Norm became disenfranchised with the world of music (and poverty!) and subsequently dropped out of the music scene to join "the real world". As his children grew and relied less on him, Norm's passion for music was again rekindled and took him in the direction of song writing forcing him to develop his musical skills playing other instruments. Currently Norm resides in Ottawa, Canada with his wife and three children and spends all his free hours in his home studio. He is also seen on the local circuit playing bass for various Ottawa area bands.
